General information

Unimer values your personal privacy. You can feel safe when you submit your personal data to us.

Unimer's privacy policy explains how we collect, handle and protect personal data, and what rights you as a user have in relation to this. A user is defined as an existing or potential customer, supplier, employee or other stakeholder.

When you interact with Unimer, you automatically accept our privacy policy and the processing of your personal data.

 Collection of data

In order for you to be able to take advantage of Unimer's offers, such as products and services, product information and the like, we need data about you and the company you represent. This data is necessary in order to enter into a customer or contractual relationship with us. Personal data about suppliers is collected when there is a potential new supplier or when registering a supplier. Data on current, former and future employees, regardless of the nature of employment, is collected and processed during any recruitment process and continuously during employment.

All processing of personal data takes place on the basis of the provisions in Swedish privacy legislation and on the basis of guidelines that apply within Unimer Plast & Gummi AB.

 

Use of data and purposes

Unimer processes your personal data when you:

receive information about our products via newsletters, emails, physical post etc.

become a corporate customer with us

make contact with us in our business as a third party (supplier, partner, customer reference etc.)

participate in surveys

are employed by us

apply for vacancies with us or register your interest in working for us

make contact with us in a general sense

Personal data you provide via website, letter, visit or telephone is entered in our register and used by Unimer for administrative purposes. This data may also be used for marketing purposes and for follow up.

When you apply for vacancies, submit inquiries regarding employment, participate in surveys or request to be contacted by us, we use your contact details only for the purpose you provided them.

Employees' personal data is collected and processed to fulfil obligations under law, for personnel, payroll and remuneration administration purposes and to follow up internal policies. Personal data that is processed primarily consists of name, personal identification number, telephone number, bank information, preliminary tax information, data relating to salary and benefits, address, information about relatives, qualifications, experience and development, absence, illness and any rehabilitation.

When representatives of a company contact Unimer with an inquiry or order, the names of the company's contact persons, their position and department affiliation as well as their workplace address, telephone number and email address are registered. Corresponding data is registered for third-party participation.

In other situations, the data you have chosen to provide is registered.

 

Data protection

Your personal data is stored and used only if you make it available to us. Unimer takes all reasonable legal technical and organisational measures to be secure against intentional or unintentional manipulation by unauthorised persons.

Unimer will primarily handle your personal data within the EU/EEA, but we may also transfer your personal data to a country outside the EU/EEA if we need to share your data with other companies in the group or with Unimer's suppliers or partners who are outside, or who store personal data in a country outside, the EU/EEA. If your personal data is transferred to any country outside the EU/EEA, Unimer will take the necessary measures to legally transfer such data by ensuring that your personal data is handled securely, for example by entering into an agreement with the recipient.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of sensitive personal data that you send to us via unencrypted email or internet connection, from third parties.

 

How long do we store personal data?

We store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the data was collected, or to carry out our commitments, and for as long as it is required by statutory storage periods, for example in terms of accounting requirements.

 

Disclosure of personal data

We do not sell or otherwise transfer personal data to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties. When ordering or contacting us, the data entered in our register may be disclosed to third parties, i.e. to persons, companies and authorities outside Unimer, to the extent required to carry out a given assignment. This also applies to administering recruitment or employment, surveys or when contacting you if you wish to be contacted by us.

 

Deregistration

You can contact us at any time via unimer@unimer.se to receive information about what personal data we have stored about you, or if you want us to delete your personal data.

 

Policy changes

The latest updated version of Unimer's privacy policy is always available on our website. Unimer reserves the right to revise the privacy policy from time to time, and we therefore ask that you read the policy when you visit the website.
